Turns out the ripped pool liner was the least of our pool worries. The pool walls were damaged because the filter wasn't grounded. The current had reversed and created little holes in the walls. To replace the pool walls was nearly $4000, but a brand-new pool is around $5000. So we decided we aren't going to have a pool any more.
Right now, we have a 30x15 sandpit...
Here is Nate playing in the rain. Makes you want to sing, "Standing outside with my mouth open wide, uh uh-uh uh uh-uh uh uh-uh uh, if all the raindrops were lemondrops and gumdrops, oh what a rain that would be."
